How Long Does It Take to Charge the Mustang Mach-E? The Mustang Mach-Es charging time depends on the method used. Plugging in with a 120-volt household outlet will add about 3 miles of driving range per hour. This is referred to as a Level 1 charge, and its not a practical method for most drivers. Instead, its better to use a 240-volt outlet or a Level 2 public charging station. These methods can add about 20 miles of range per hour. Ford also sells a high-amperage charger that can be installed at your home (Ford Connected Charge Station). It can add 28 miles of range per hour and fully charge the battery in about 11 hours.
