Description:
National Car Store offers the highest quality pre-owned vehicles thousands below market value and a virtual car buying experience from the comfort and safety of your home! As a niche player, the sporty Nissan Juke subcompact crossover is an oddball in the automotive world and has no direct competitors. But that doesn't stop it from being a reasonably affordable, fun-to-drive alternative to normal cars. The Juke is powered by a turbocharged 188-hp, 177-lb-ft 1.6-liter I-4. Front-drive versions can be had with a six-speed manual transmission or a CVT, while all-wheel-drive models are limited to the CVT. The front-drive manual is EPA rated 25/31 mpg city/highway, while the CVT is rated 27/32 mpg. All-wheel-drive models are rated 25/30 mpg. Next year, a more powerful Juke Nismo will be offered. With a 0-60 mph time of 6.8 seconds, we were impressed by the performance of the front-drive, CVT-equipped Juke SV in our 2011 first test. After attacking the figure-eight handling course in 27.3 seconds at 0.85 g average lateral g, we noted the Juke's handling proves to be more fun than the torsion beam rear suspension would lead you to believe. The all-wheel-drive Juke came in first place against the Mini Countryman in a 2011 comparison test. We concluded. As impractical as it looks, but freakishly fun on the streets. The Juke is no joke, but it will still leave you giggling. Motor Trend added a 2011 Nissan Juke SL AWD to its long term test fleet. The all-wheel-drive CVT model hit 60 mph in 7.3 seconds. While our initial impressions were positive, in our arrival post we said, There are some other niggles: With 10.5 cubic feet of cargo capacity, there's barely enough room for passengers and their stuff. Then there's that droning CVT. In the end, we concluded, At the end of its 365-day stay, the Juke's positive attributes unequivocally outweighed any niggles I could muster and any complaints (with gasps!) its exterior evoked from people who hadn't had the chance to live with it. A new Juke Midnight Edition features unique black 17-inch alloy wheels, and a Sapphire Black rear roof spoiler and mirror caps. The Navigation Package on SV models now includes a backup camera and a revised Rockford Fosgate ecoPunch audio system, the latter of which is standard on the SL model. New paint colors include Atomic Gold, Brilliant Silver, and Pearl White. The 2013 Nissan Juke FWD and AWD has a four-star overall safety rating from the NHTSA (out of a possible five stars) and is considered a Top Safety Pick by the IIHS for cars built after November 2012.
